Collection and use of personal data from customers, suppliers and other contractors

We would like to draw your attention to the fact that we will collect and use the personal data you provide to us because this is necessary to conclude and execute any agreement with you. This applies both to our (potential) customers and to parties from whom we purchase business and/or services.
If you are our customer or potential customer, we use your data to send you a quotation, to determine the specifications or wishes of a certain item or service, to deliver goods or perform work for you, to invoice you and to communicate with you quickly and efficiently about the execution aspects of the agreement.
If you are a (potential) supplier or other contractor, your personal data are also necessary for the conclusion and execution of the agreement. In the case of procurement, this is necessary to let you know what specifications or requirements a particular item or service should meet as far as we are concerned, to be able to send you a request for a quotation or place an order with you, to be able to pay your invoices and to communicate with you smoothly and efficiently about other aspects of the agreement.
You are not required to provide us with your personal data. However, if you do not provide us with any or sufficient personal data, we may not be able to carry out the aforementioned activities.

Passing on to third parties

Elmec Handels- en Ingenieursbureau BV does not sell your data to third parties and only provides them if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. With companies that process your data on our behalf, we conclude a processing agreement to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data.

Direct marketing

If you have given us permission to do so, we will store and use the personal data you have provided in order to personally inform you by e-mail about our existing and new products and services in the future, and possibly make you an offer for these. This may take the form of a newsletter, for example. Each time we send you such a mailing, you have the option to let us know that you no longer wish to receive it. Data Collection

We collect personal data if you voluntarily provide it to us as part of an inquiry, an order or during a contact with us (e.g. by e-mail). We use the data you provide to process your inquiry or complete a contract. Once the contract has been fully completed, your data will be deleted after expiration of the tax and commercial law retention periods.

Your Rights

You have the right to ask us to view your own personal data. If warranted, you may also ask us to supplement your personal data or to correct inaccuracies. In addition, you have the right to ask us to delete your personal data or to restrict the use of your personal data. You can also object to us collecting and using your data or file a complaint with the Personal Data Authority.
