Wheel Flange Lubrication

Overhead and gantry cranes generally use steel wheels with flanges that run on a steel rail. The lubrication of the contactsurface between the wheel flanges and the crane rails reduces friction and thus also reduces wear on the crane wheels and crane rails. This results in a longer service life of wheels and rails, cost savings and an increase in the usability of the entire installation.

The X Series wheel flange lubrication units use solid lubricants to minimize friction between the wheel flanges and the rails, thereby reducing wear. The units are universally applicable and can be used flexibly. The X-series is easy to install, even on existing crane installations.
